With our vinyl watertight decking you can use the space under your deck
for a storage room, screened porch, or dry space for play or entertaining.
The interlocking vinyl planks channel the water out to the edges of
the deck. The interlocking
feature also makes this decking the easiest to install. Just
screw it down through the pre-drilled flange and simply drop the next
piece in place. No clips, brackets, pounding, jumping, spacers or all
the other existing problems that have been the standard. This decking
installs as much as 5 times faster than many of the leading vinyl decks
on today's market. There are no visible screws or fasteners and because
it is offered in long lengths, there are no splices to catch
toes. You can easily install the decking for a 12' x 20' deck in
30 minutes.
 The deck planks are offered in
16', 20' and 24' lengths which are approximately 1.25"
thick. There are two colors available,
gray and tan. The product is made of 100% virgin vinyl with the color
throughout the material. It is very tough and very stiff (engineering
data is available). The interlocking design links each plank to the
adjacent planks so that loads are transferred over a greater area.
Therefore, deflection (bending) is minimal, less than standard wood
decking. It can be applied to wood joist (16" OC) or applied
directly over existing sound decking.

I thought I would give it a good test with a water hose after the
trim had been installed. However that evening we had the heaviest
rain we had had in 3 months - it poured! I anxiously entered the
room and I was pleased to find that it was as dry as it was before
the rain - not one drop got into the area. Because we had framed
the deck for wood decking, we did not pitch the deck. As a result,
I had some water puddles, but none got through to the room below. We
have had many rains and several snow storms since and the
room is still dry. ehs
