Shipping of Kits
Most gazebo,
playhouse, and shed kits are shipped by common carrier on a pallet.
Drivers are not required
to unload the kit, although some will help. So do you need a forklift?
Well
if you have one that would be great, but it is not necessary. Most of our customers
simply cut the bands holding the parts of the kit on the pallet and unload
it piece by piece. Most kits do not have any single part is more than 60 pounds
and can be unloaded by one person. We advise that you have a friend or two
around
to help with the job.
In many locations there is an alternative for playhouses and sheds. The trucking company can send
the kit out on a truck equipped with a lift gate. This is a hydraulic
"elevator" that can be used to lower the pallet from the truck to the
ground. Lift gate service cost an extra $95 and is not available at all
locations and typically cannot be used for gazebo kits. If the
service is not available, we will refund the charge.
