 The pergola canopy rolls up out of the
way and pretty much out of sight on top of the pergola. An optional
hood provides additional protection for the fabric when the canopy
is not in use.

Install your canopy yourself and
save big bucks.
Although your canopy can be installed by a handyman (we recommend
Mr. Handyman) this is also a good DIY project. No special tools are
required and we provide step by step instructions. The basic steps
are:

- Install the mounting brackets and place the
canopy into them
- Screw down the tracks to the stringers or rafters
- Install two pulleys and route the tensioning
cable
- Adjust the tension on the cable
- Plug in the motor and test the canopy and adjust the
motor limits if necessary.
- Extend the canopy and enjoy!
A canopy should take two people less than half a day to
install from setup to cleanup. |

installed on your pergola no matter the spacing of the rafters (you
don't even need rafters!) or whether or not you have stringers on
your pergola. You just need a sturdy frame! |
This is the one system that
can be used on wood, vinyl, or aluminum pergolas
Ordering the ShadeRight pergola canopy is much easier than competing
systems. A single canopy can be from 10' to 26' wide with a projection
of up to 24'. (with a max of about 400 square feet.) Keep in mind
that the width of the fabric is about 9" less than the overall
length of the canopy. After determining the size, select your fabric
color (there are over 100!), decide if you want a hood, and select
the frame color - bronze or white. The only other thing we need to
know is which end that you want the motor on - left or right when
standing on the side that the canopy extends to - when facing the
product. |

acrylic fabric which means the color is throughout the material not
just on the surface. We feature Para Tempotest®
fabrics which are manufactured to the very highest quality standards
in Italy. This fabric has a Teflon® finish
which makes the fabric resistant to mold and rotting. The fabric has great dimensional stability. You may
also select from the Sunbrella® line of awning
fabrics. It is American made and of outstanding quality.
