Installation
WOOD PAVILIONS
Wood pavilions require some building skills to erect. Contractors with experience in erecting moderate sized buildings will find the assemble relatively easy to accomplish. An experienced crew of 4 can typically assemble one in a day. Our builder can provide phone assistance for assembly.
The basic steps in assembling one of our gazebos kits are:
  • Prepare the foundation, making sure it is firm, and level

  • Secure the floor sections with screws
  • Install the roof support posts
  • Install the pre-assembled lower and upper railing sections
  • Place the roof sections in position and secure with screws
  • Install the pagoda roof and/or cupola
  • Nail the ridge cap shingles.
  • Have a completion party!

A drawing package is available for most configurations and it is possible to get an engineering stamp for most of the states that require it. There may be an additional charge for the drawing package. There is no charge for the plan view layout drawing.

We can arrange for one of our Amish carpenter crews to assemble wood pavilions in most areas of the Mid-Atlantic region. Call for availability and cost.

VINYL PAVILIONS
Vinyl pavilions require 2 people to assemble using common tools and a ladder. Step-by-step directions are provided. Most of these buildings can also be assembled in a day or less on a prepared floor.

Please remember, we have assembled many of these structures ourselves, so if you do run into a problem help from an experienced installer is only a phone call away.
