Adding light to your
deck, patio or backyard extends its usefulness, security, and
safety. We offer safe low voltage lighting fixtures and accessories
from all of the major manufacturers at prices that make them great
values. And, we can help you with every part of the project - planning,
purchasing, installation, and maintenance.
Whether the area you want to light is a 10 x 10 patio or the grounds
of a multi-acre estate, we can provide you with planning assistance at
no charge. We have installed these products on many of our deck and
landscape projects for years, so we can help with first hand
knowledge in the selection and installation.
Low voltage landscape
lighting is simple and safe to install, requiring only a few tools and
some basic knowledge.
There are three major types of components needed to complete a system:
Low Voltage Fixtures, Transformer and Controls, and Wire. We have all
of the components that you will need for any size system. In addition,
we can calculate wire and lamp sizes if needed, number of fixtures
required and their spacing, and we can advise you on the placement of
the fixtures to achieve a particular effect.
One of the most significant design issues that you may have to deal
with is voltage drop. This phenomenon is the reduction of voltage that
reaches the lamp due to the length of the wiring run or the size of
the wire relative to the load. For more information on calculating and
dealing with voltage drop

Another Bright Idea.
Instead of standard path or bollard lighting for your
walkways and paths, use post top or post mount lights on short 4
x 4 vinyl posts set in the ground. With post top lights such as
the Classy Caps shown here, you will not need to order a post
cap. This is also a great idea for marking the entrance to your
driveway. If the run to too long consider one of our solar post
top lights.
